DHHs "Dong Hai Hospital Design Studio"

DHHs, known as DHH studio, which stands for "Dong Hai Hospital" is a design studio headed by Gina Hsu, a young and active designer acting as both a project manager for DHHs, as well as a lecturer at Shih-Chien University in the Department of Industrial Design. With found memories from childhood, her design is a derivative reminiscent of her experience as a child roaming through the regional hospital, where her father and grandfather worked as medical practitioners.

As a designer, Gina's childhood is a source of inspiration and great influence, she carries the joy from her childhood's memory into every single design, and with that her designs have garnered her great attention from international exhibition such as the 2010 Salone Internazionale del Mobile Furniture Fair in Milan, and the Maison & Objet in Paris. In addition to that, Gina has also participated in the Arts and Design Fair "Beautiful Chaos" of Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and curated Taiwan Designers' Week's "City Yeast" project.

Her work continues to explore boundaries/relation between design and human anatomy, and pushes the envelope for greater design in a wider spectrum. While past work was nominated for several Taiwanese Awards and gained international attention, her devotion towards the design process and engagement in planning and business is still the driving factor behind DHHs' great work today.
